Rider Profile: Dusty Wygle
Nitro: How excited are you to bring Nitro Circus Live to the United States for the first time?
Dusty: I can't wait to to perform here in the states! Bringing Nitro home to where it started and the people who fell in love with it in the first place is an awesome feeling. Ready to send it!
Nitro: What's it like behind the scenes on a Nitro tour?
Dusty: We have a massive crew touring to make this whole thing happen. There is so much going on before a show. Scaff guys hustling to get the set together, Media to attend to. All the riders prepping or just messing with each other. Guys psyching each other up to try something new and gnarly in that nights show. People getting duct taped together by our physio therapists so that they can make it through the night. It is absolute chaos!
Nitro: Who is the funniest person on tour? And why?
Dusty: Hard to say in this group, almost everyone is a clown. I would say it's a mexican stand off with Bilko, Wheelz and Crum. All for different reasons. But when they're around you will always find yourself cracking up.
Nitro: What has been the most embarrassing moment you've had on tour?
Dusty: I am sure I do a lot of things I should be embarrassed about. But when most of your life is spent in front of large groups of people you tend to just forget about it and do your thing.
Nitro: Favourite American celebrity?
Dusty: I don't have one.
Nitro: What would you do with your last $10?
Dusty: Would I be dying once said $10 was used? Or would that just be the last $10 in my pocket? If I was dying I would give it to somebody who could use it. If it was the other, I would find a way to make more money with it. Thereby fixing the problem of that being my last $10. Boring question, Boring answer.
Nitro: If you had a chance to change one body part, what would it be? And why?
Dusty: My ankles. (If it's a pair that counts as one.) They take so much abuse all the time. Some fresh ones would really improve my situation.

Contraption of the Week - "The Boogie Board"
How is it built? This one is pretty simple. We buy a basic boogie board from a department store, put a solid plate on the bottom, attach some wheels so that it rolls down the ramp properly, and we're good to go!
Where did the idea come from? Kinda like the Barbie Car, there's no specific inspiration for this! We thought it'd be super funny to see a dude in flippers and boardshorts jumping off a massive ramp. We tried it at Pala, it worked, and it's been a fixture in the show since!
Who rides it? Dusty Wygle is the world's #1 (and maybe the only) land boogie boarder! He has made that sport his own!
Biggest Tricks: Dusty has taken land boogie boarding to the next level. He's thrown down body varials, and his unbelievable ‘Spin and Stomp' where he lifts off the board, spins the boogie board 360 degrees, lands on it standing up and rides away!
